We had family in Fresno and lived in Bakersfield years ago. We would travel great distances to get to Hanford merely to purchase the banana ice cream. As a child, Dad resided in Hanford. Even though he had no relatives left there, he still needed to get his banana ice cream. As we appreciated it, we would get a cone and take a stroll in the park across the street. Dad published a book on his experiences growing up in Hanford and at Superior Dairy, and he mentions banana ice cream several times.

OMGOsh, You are still there, and you seem just like I recall! My dentist was in Hanford, but when I was a child, I lived in Visalia. My parents would always take me out for ice cream after the dental appointment, which was the only reason I didn’t object. I still remember how amazing these were, even though I normally ordered a chocolate shake. I’m 74 years old, so I’m assuming that was in the early 1950s. I wish I still lived close to Hanford so I could revisit these memories. Your ice cream is the greatest I’ve ever had! Huge congratulations from Oregon!

Great place for ice cream, but they only deliver. The ice cream tastes really good and is smooth. I adore the ice cream’s consistency. It’s just right—not overly sweet. A single scoop is enormous. I’ll definitely come back and try more flavors because I really suggest it.

My favorite ice cream in a long time. Very tasty! In actuality, a “scoop of ice cream” is really large. Of course, the main drawback is the lengthy wait due to the strong demand. Well worth the wait, though.
